Don’t know about you but everytime I read a post starting with – my blog is the best – I tend to skip to another page.

So again, don’t take my ice breaking post entries too seriously.

FILA and the other footwear brands at the origin of streetwear

I remember my first pair of Fila, they were all black and lasted for about a month skateboarding on a daily basis.
That was good enough at the time (1993) because reinforced skateboard shoes had not been released yet in local skateboard shops in my area.

I had forgotten about this brand until I stumbled upon an article by Nick Schonberger at www.highsnobiety.com titled Fila Heritage. I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate Nick for the quality of his blog posts. I wish I was as hardworking as him,,, I’d probably be rich by now.
